...but the rise of the constitutionalists is inspiring. The commonwealth's most populous city, Virginia Beach, has declared itself a Second Amendment Constitutional City.
While this is not as emphatic or potentially confrontational as declaring sanctuary status, in which, typically, local law enforcement is directed to ignore enforcement provisions of new gun control laws, it is good to get the city council of the state's largest municipality on record as openly supporting Second Amendment rights. One cannot imagine the Deep State enclaves of Arlington or McClean going even this far.
