My dear fellow, how wonderfully gracious of you!
That's quite an achievement! Let's see if she can sustain the effort of not breaking her corrective lenses.
The glasses certainly add to her looks -- does she know that? That pose looks rather practiced......
She's been posing for as long as she's been around! She must take after her mother, because her dad loses everything (usually twice).
It looks like she has accepted her new glasses way better than I did. I was in the fifth grade when poor eyesight was added to my list of imperfections. I was quite a homely kid, and felt I didn't need any more strikes against me, in the form of ugly eye wear. Fortunately, that was about the time I had noticed that girls were different from boys in a nice way, and I changed my attitude toward them when one of the girls in my class told me she liked them.
I had to get glasses in the third grade. Ma Paco made sure I got some horned-rim frames: "Just like Barry Goldwater wears!"
She's a doll.
omg, she is so grown up! And incredibly beautiful
