The campaign finance report filed on January 30, showed Steyer spent $252,841,942 on his campaign, according to Open Secrets.Steyer and Bloomberg seem to be following the same campaign strategy:
Millions more were likely spent as Steyer continued to advertise in Nevada and South Carolina before calling it quits on February 29.
Gives the expression "green candidate" a whole new meaning.

Chump change to Steyer probably, but at least a little bit of cash for drivers, hotel housekeepers, waiters, caterers, and maybe even some for duped campaigners. So these things aren't a total loss, except for the narcissist who thinks the world is waiting for him.
They may be "green candidates", but they ain't carbon free ... ... being full of hot air, and all.
