Maggie is taking gymnastics and finally made it to the top of the rope. Never could do that, myself.
We were in my home town of Albemarle yesterday, on family business, and I snapped this picture at the end of the day. Naturally, my cell phone camera and my own lack of skill don't really do the scene justice, but the larger view was so serenely bucolic, I wanted to have something to jog my memory later.

Albermarle looks like a beautiful place.
Lovely country, to be sure.
Rope climbing never was my forte, either. Maggie is doing nice!
Congratulations Maggie! I never rope climbed, not even in the Army, thankfully. I'm fairly certain it would not have been as successful as Maggie. Then again, Drill Sergeants are great motivational speakers.
Albemarle looks beautiful. It makes having to do business more of a joy. Memories must come flooding back.
Looking at Maggie at the top of that rope gives me vertigo.
:O
I'm assuming she was able to climb down - although, who knows, maybe they had to call the fire department.
I am seriously impressed by Maggie's rope-climbing prowess. Are you sure she isn't going to grow up to be a Marine, like Uncle Paco?
Could happen. Especially if they let her carry one of those Hello Kitty battle rifles I've seen online.
Albermarle does look like a pleasant place.
Just took a virtual tour down Main Street using Google Maps; some lovely houses and magnificent trees(maple?)out on E Main Street.
There are several houses, I believe, in the National Historic Register.
