Here is a scene from Tremors 2 featuring THE GREAT Burt Gummer, and a couple of his greatest lines.

Looks like a fun movie.
Haw!
The deaths in Germany are near 100 for near 25k tested cases. That's 0.25% fatalities and probably much less as there are probably far more cases untested.
Yes we should avoid going into healthcare melt down as is happening in Italy. But is shutting everything down the best way? How about building temp hospitals? But there aren't enough trained staff for them - that's the problem.
Meanwhile our govts have gone mad with power: 'Naughty Aussies went to Bondi beach, so they are grounded!' For 6 months? If there isn't rioting over this we are all sheep.
PS, epidemics experts like Israel's Dan Yamin are saying the number of deaths will be the same, whether we get it over this year or drag it out to 2023. There is no 'stopping' it, and this happens with every virus spread. So building more hospitals and dealing with it is sensible, rather than wrecking economies.
I'm getting down-voted when I make such comments on Breitbart, Bruce.
The panic is crazy.
I wonder if this has anything to do with the total world population recommendation of 500 million on the Georgia Guidestones.
If they could just kill off 95% of us, their utopia could be accomplished.
I, too, am looking with increasing consternation on the idea of throwing multiple trillions of dollars at the pandemic and ordering possible state and national lock-downs. And I note, also, that even some conservative websites are allowing a tone of creeping panic to leach into their headlines and either skew the stories they choose to link or cause them to link, in all directions (as it were), every scrap of "news", without providing context (Breitbart and, frankly, even Instapundit not excepted).
Yep, I've noticed the same thing, Paco. All of the media needs to chill and have a pickle.
