First noticed her in a Marx Bros movie, Big Store? I like the stone-faced deadpan act she does, so different.

The deadpan shtick apparently got started by accident, when, early in her career, she became petrified in front of a live audience and sang a number without any animation. The audience simply thought it was part of the act and loved it, so she continued using the routine.

Hilarious song! I think I posted it several years ago, and I still like to visit it, from time to time. Virginia O'Brien was as cute as a button.
