No more clicketty clack!
More's the pity. Even worse, essentially no more sweet brown suits and fedoras, either (or women wearing gloves).
Don't forget women's hats. Ah, it is sad that those days of class are gone, along with the clicketty clack Bruce mentioned.
Yeah, love those old hats, especially the big pre-WW2 ones with wide brims. Looked so dignified, demanded respect, unlike present fashions.
They got women's fashions just right from about 1900 (ditching the bustle) to the 1930s, although the 1920s 'flappers' were a ridiculous abberation.
