Contrary to the assertions of Illinois (and, especially, Chicago) politicians...

...most of the guns recovered in Illinois come from Illinois.

  1. I hope the Illinois Army National Guard has improved their security since I was last drilled with them (1989). Back then, they were losing an average of a weapon a month from their armories. One of them actually turned up in Lebanon.

But I'm pretty sure most where locally distributed.

  2. What about all the crime committed in communities surrounding Chicago by Chicago thugs who are looking for fresh hunting grounds and willing to travel?

  4. JeffS... Do you mean Lebanon, Kansas?

During the Sixties and Seventies, NG armories were favored one stop shops for domestic terrorists (or as we know them today, "Democrat elder statesmen").

  8. In Australia many of our place names which aren't aboriginal come from Great Britain - about half from Scotland so not just 'England'. I think that makes it easier for us but we are a much smaller nation people-wise.
