Of course

The decision by the Pittsburgh Steelers to honor a drive-by shooting thug apparently was made by management - possibly with the approval of the Democrat-supporting owners, the Rooney family.

I stopped watching all professional sports years ago, except for baseball which I dropped last year. I was surprised how easy it was to fill the time with more useful activities - e.g., improving my shooting skills at the range.

As I've mentioned before, I also lost interest in pro sports years ago. I didn't miss it before, and it gets easier & easier not to miss it with each passing day full of the newest insane example of what pro sports has become.

I do still watch pro golf, but even that interest is waning as all my old favorites are replaced by younger guys at the top of the leader board. But, as long as they don't sink into the quicksand of wokeness, I'll probably still watch.

Even Mr. H, who has watched sports religiously for most of his life, is starting to lose interest. A lot of it has to do with the coronavirus lockdown when sports shows had nothing to talk about, so they lurched into the Social Justice swamp. The sanctimony was just too suffocating. Now that football is coming back, even the players don't seem too enthusiastic about it, because there's a distinct lack of energy in the games.
