The Democrats nominated the wrong person to be their presidential candidate

Which is pretty obvious. One supposes that they simply hope to effectively create a one-party state, then it won't matter who the figurehead is.

But if there are any Democrats left who have the brains to see that the party's current path is leading to what will ultimately become a destructive (and self-destructive) revolution, they could do worse than consider boosting the future career of Tulsi Gabbard, who apparently isn't afraid of tackling cultural issues.

Tulsi Gabbard is a Socialist, like Bernie Sanders, but she's much more dangerous. While Bernie comes across as a crazy old Bolshevik 1960s throwback, attractive to few outside the 20-something Sociology / Poli-sci student demographic, Gabbard speaks in a very straight-forward manner, and very often, sensibly, like here.

Biden's not going to "do" anything. He's only a placeholder. And while it's tempting to assume that Harris is the real candidate, that's not even true - the point is simply to take control and hold it.

Dems are now in the position of supporting burning down the cities and enabling pedophilia. While I do not support "Pizzagate" and QAnon's theories, I can't deny them anymore either.

It may be the case that the Dimocrat/leftist hive mind has evolved past the point where it needs a real "leader"; but must have a token leader, for the time being.

That's a pretty good supposition there rman.

The whole deal of Dems in 2020 has me confused. I can't figure out the point except the Will to Power.
How does nominating a senile old, corrupt liar help? How does destroying cities help? How does locking America up help?
So many questions, so few answers.

My guess is that the Democrat leadership knew they couldn't beat Trump this year before anyone else did. Joe is the throwaway candidate. The Clayton's candidate, as we'd say here.
They've decided to burn, not build this time around.
