Ometeotl is said to have been a dual god in Aztec mythology. Old José, there, is just two kinds of stupid (at least). You really did yourselves proud, citizens of Lynwood.
The two deputies are now in stable condition, and I pray for their speedy and full recovery.

And now the Lynwood City Council is frantically trying damage control, telling everybody that the guy they hired to manage their city does not in fact represent their city.
Is Ometeotl that guy's real name? Isn't it illegal to run for office under an assumed name?
It's not that uncommon. Former LA mayor Antonio Villaraigosa spent most of his life as "Tony Villar", but added his wife's maiden name "Raigosa" to his to make it sound more "aristocratic".
