He's a donk -- of course he doesn't understand the Constitution.
ReplyDeleteFetterman is a Democrat, and it's Pennsylvania, so the Constitution doesn't enter into any thought there. People like him think they can say any stupid thing and expect people to believe it (which, unfortunately, many will).

ReplyDeleteA friend of mine from the federal agency where I worked - an immigrant from Ukraine, a former New York lawyer, and one of the smartest, most well-read people I've ever known - used to smirk ever so slightly beneath the cover of his mustache when a colleague was pointed out as having graduated from Harvard. He wisely attached no automatic importance to the mere fact of a Harvard degree.

ReplyDeleteThat is their sole principle, and as such they are never untrue to it. You will not find it anywhere in the Constitution, and that is why they have nothing but contempt for that document and want to abolish it.
