Who, indeed

Katie Hopkins, who was on the scene, describes the dystopian feel of the inauguration.

Update  War correspondent Michael Yon has some ominous observations: "Washington, D.C. — Now Effectively Under Martial Law".

  1. It was as I wished. No one showed up. I wonder if Joebama was disappointed that there were no thousands cheering his election, or if he was so concentrated on remembering what he was supposed to say that he didn't even notice. I wonder if any of the people who planned the frauduration realized how cowardly they appear now, behind razor wire and ranks of National Guard, none of which was needed.

    1. The fraudster was probably disappointed when he was told to make the stay-at-home request under cover of COVID.

I wonder if Joe "I support and respect the military" knows that National Guard troops had to encamp in a parking garage? One bathroom, and no electrical outlets. But that is being remedied. Trump has now opened his hotel to the troops.

  2. I don't think they see it that way, RebeccaH. The Pelosis and Schumers and AOCs and Harrises see it as "sending a message." The show was a naked display of power. It said "Don't step out of line, don't make waves, don't speak up."

Meanwhile, the lickspittle toadies and lackeys and suckups, like Ben Rhodes, are gleeful at the prospect of weaponizing the national security apparatus against their domestic enemies. The media, Big Tech, the Deep State, and the federal government are supposed to ensure peace and quiet by stamping out fascists and racists and sexists.

    You know, the Deplorables.

  3. Loyalty tests in the US military, to a regime not the Constitution, to 'fight fascism' was a nice touch.
Pretty endy but pretty funny too.
The Funniest End Of Civilization Ever is back in full swing.
Now with extra endy and extra funny.

  4. I would gladly sacrifice the funny if we could avoid the endy, but I'm not sure there's any way to do that.
