Elfwick was banned, I think, because he was too spot on. He was always being quoted by earnest yet moronic left wing media (Looking at you, Grauniad) as a serious commentator. Because... it never occurs to the left that they are remotely ridiculous, and when they discover that they are being made fun of, it infuriates them. And when angry, they cannot simply ignore whoever is annoying them, they must go into Global Thermonuclear War mode.
