Other dangerous, insurrectionist-type words and symbols include the word "boogaloo" (which Kurt Schlichter used to use all the time), images of the punisher skull, and "molon labe".

ReplyDeleteI recall that from both my oath of enlistment and oath of commissioning. It would not surprise me if, in the Age of Brandon and Thoroughly Modern Milley's military, that the phrase has been dropped.

ReplyDeleteAnd speaking of domestic terrorists, if you aren’t a science fiction buff, you may not know who Larry Correia is. But he is a firearms expert as well, and absolutely devastating when it comes to dealing with lefties, commies, and their useful idiots.
Anywho, he has written his first NON-fiction book, “In Defense of the Second Amendment”. It’s for supporters and fence sitters. Might be worth a read.

DeleteI haven't read any of Correia's sci-fi, but I have seen a couple of essays somewhere on the 2 Amendment (There! I said it again!) He's good.

I still purchase virtually all of my ammo online, so it's even more expensive with the shipping costs (except for one or two outfits that offer "free" shipping, either based on the dollar amount of the ammo purchased, or through a buyer's club). I haven't been out to the range since before I went into the hospital back in May. Need to get out there this week, if possible. It's mighty hot, though. I suppose I ought to go early in the morning.
