More tears of riotous amusement from yours truly
I recently posted a link to an article in the New York Post that talked about RINO Peter Meijer's whiny response to Democrats supporting his Trumpist opponent in the primary - after voting to impeach Trump, he figured he deserved better from his donk friends (which should disqualify him from holding office on the basis of sheer stupidity, if nothing else).
Well, ol' Pete went down in defeat, losing to John Gibbs. I have no way of knowing, for sure, if Democrat support played an important role - there's also the fact that he invited rebuke from his constituents for his traitorous behavior, and for playing into the hands of the Democrats by voting for impeachment. Still, it might be fair to say...
I dunno, if you run for office as a Republican (or conversely as a Dem) and win, the minimal obligation you incur is to act like one at least. So what's this clown's beef, again?

ReplyDeleteMeijer is another rube who didn't self-identify, but had his identity handed to him. Heh.
ReplyDeleteStephen: Just a RINO who thought - wrongly, as it turns out - that he'd ride the NeverTrump bandwagon to a long career in congress.
ReplyDeleteWell, it worked for John McCain...
