They're not actually sobering up. They're making do with aftershave lotion and vanilla extract until Trump II restores their usual sources of grifter brandy.

The GOP is going to Pound The Table!!!! and threaten to Hold Hearings!!!!! to Demand Answers!!!!!!!!
They'll get no answers, but they'll get great sound bites as carefully orchestrated votes are tallied and more of our freedoms are stolen by razor thing margins with votes by GOP pols in 'safe' districts voting for it while those whose voters pay attention (don't laugh) vote against.
It's all local for the foreseeable future.
Make sure your sheriff is not onboard feds kicking down your door for Unsafe Opinions and the Gov is ready to tell the Feds to suck it.
Thats' why I really hope Kari Lake is for real and she's ready to counter the Maricopa McCain Machine's shenanigans.
