  1. LOL! I took a virtual bobsled ride like that in the Luxor in Las Vegas a few years ago. It was a bit more exciting than that though, none of that no-knock business.

    I, too, am curious to know how they did that. Surely these people didn't just scoot forward a few inches at a time? Or were they pulled with a chord which was tossed before each photograph? It is impressive, that's for sure.

  4. I researched this (a little), and the film technique is called pixilation. As far as I can tell, it's almost the same thing as stop-motion (there's a distinction, supposedly, but my limited research doesn't really explain what it is). Here's an old Youtube video that shows how it works.
