The actress died at her home in Los Angeles at age 96. God rest her soul.
I never saw her television program ("Murder, She Wrote"), but I did admire her work in the movies, perhaps most notably The Manchurian Candidate.
Here's a scene from that classic film (Meh...possible spoiler alert, if you haven't yet seen the movie).
She was chilling in Manchurian Candidate. And then she was perky albeit bloodthirsty ("If he dies, you die!") in Court Jester. And she also showed off a very credible set of gams in Bedknobs and Broomsticks.
ReplyDeleteOh my, yes, she was an excellent performer!
ReplyDeleteAlas, she will be missed.
She was a saucy little wench in Gaslight, and yes, gave me chills in M.C.
ReplyDeleteA talented lady, the likes of which are far too rare.
ReplyDeleteShe was a phenomenal talent with vast range. She will be missed. Luckily, we have her rich legacy. May she rest in peace.
