A consortium of four private groups worked with the departments of Homeland Security (DHS) and State to censor massive numbers of social media posts they considered misinformation during the 2020 election, and its members then got rewarded with millions of federal dollars from the Biden administration afterwards, according to interviews and documents obtained by Just the News.
Misinformation = information inconvenient to Democrats. These are the most 1984-ish times I've ever witnessed.
Meanwhile, meet some financially very-well-off leftists who have canceled and doxed their way to fame - in some cases, using their connections to erase key elements of their backgrounds from the internet in order to avoid the same fate they have visited on others (H/T: Ace of Spades).

Do you ever wonder what the world would be like today, if the internet didn't exist?
Is the world what it is because of today's internet, or is the internet what it is because of today's world? In other words, did the internet screw up the world, or did the world screw up the internet?
Or a lot of both?
I suspect that the INTERNET exacerbated the decline of civilization, not caused it. At the same time, exposing lies and propaganda has been much easier, else the so-called “elites” wouldn’t be in such a huff over “disinformation” (a/k/a contrary opinions).

I guess the prospect of Musk taking over hasn't discouraged the inquisitors at Twitter. too bad. there was some good information in that thread. Maybe it can be replicated elsewhere.
