Remember when political machines were dedicated to getting people in their own party elected? Good times, good times.
Now we've got this: "Karl Rove’s Establishment Super PAC Backing Josh Shapiro Over Doug Mastriano, Because of Course It Is".
George Bush and his coterie of uni-party meddlers have been a blight and a curse to this nation. One wishes - apparently in vain - that they would retire from public life, but, undoubtedly, the financial remuneration and the opportunities for ego-stroking are hard to turn down.
I don't think it's party anymore. It's tribe.
ReplyDeleteI get how these people all see themselves as Atticus Finch. We all were formed by that early 1960s era which included the civil rights thing, even those who are too young to remember it.
ReplyDeleteI look fondly back on when our fine betters pretended they didn't hold us in contempt.
ReplyDeleteKarl Rove isn't a Republican, he's a political consultant.
He just tries to get whoever's paying him elected.
His record has been pretty spotty since 2004.
