I was not particularly a fan of Hogan's Heroes - I could never get past the artifice that talking English with a German accent was just like speaking real German - but I was interested to read recently that Robert Clary - who played little Corporal LeBeau and who just passed away - was a Nazi concentration camp survivor: "Robert Clary, survivor of Nazi camps and last of ‘Hogan’s Heroes’ stars, dies at 96".

So, now, on top of everything else, we have an owl trafficking problem?
Robert Clary's story is really interesting, as was the fact that all the Nazis on Hogan's Heroes were played by Jewish actors.

I saw a video clip of that guy who ran over the police recruits being questioned, and he didn't seem to be very bothered by the whole thing. I guess he knows he'll eventually get away with it, being in California and all.
