People like Larry Fink (and George Soros, etc.) are more dangerous to our liberty than Russia and China because they weave themselves into the fabric of our society and work their influence in ways both open and surreptitious. I'm glad to learn that there are plenty of officials at the state level who see these self-appointed elitists for the threat they are.

I've been seeing Black Rock ads on TV lately and every time they set my teeth on edge. Not to go all Godwin here... oh to hell with it, fire up the Godwinizers and set them on 110%! - but they put me in mind of the family friendly pastoral footage of Hitler and Eva Braun entertaining guests at the Eagle's Nest. So wholesome! Such excellent people! What superb examples for us all to follow!

ReplyDeleteas an investor, it's one thing to offer an ESG fund as an option, it's a whole different thing to say all our funds are ESG; fortunately it's not a government mandate and there are other companies to do business with.
