Why don't you take that big ass gavel and...

I'm a bit disappointed surprised Nancy Pelosi didn't exit her leadership position as a result of a house falling on her, but whatever: "Pelosi to step down after two decades leading House Democrats" Just shows that there's nothing you can't accomplish as a legislator when your opposition is composed primarily of feckless pinheads.

I see that one of her flying monkeys is giving up a leadership position, too: "House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD) will step down from the No. 2 post after the current session of Congress expires".

  1. She isn't going away. She's still going to be there in the back rooms, making deals and trouble for all concerned. There's no retirement for Nasty Pelosi but the toes up kind, and that can't occur a minute too soon.

    1. Imagine her doing deals in jammies, sitting back on propped up pillows in bed, while sipping wine and eating bowls of gourmet ice cream. The alternative is in a home office thar looks like her D.C. one. Either way, the gavel will be ginormous.

  2. This last election was rather disappointing, but at least now it wasn't a total waste. Now if something were to happen to Biden & Harris....oh, darn.

  3. Maybe now she'll have time to vet Paul's choices in playmates.

  4. Taxes on vodka in D.C. are less than taxes on vodka in S.F.
    I looked it up.

  5. If you thought that gavel is "big ass", just wait til you see the one they give her upon her exit. The accompanying fawning proclamations will be akin to Ted Kennedy. All that remains is the question of whether she will be a "lioness" now or, at her demise.
