"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
It’s a good video, but cameras hidden inside everyday objects has been a security nightmare for years.
ReplyDeleteThis one is really nasty, as downloading files is easy with that WiFi connection.
It’s possible that the built in WiFi might be another way to find these devices. Unless it’s set to not broadcast its ID until an outside command is received.
Illegal? One would think it is mandatory. It is for truck drivers.
ReplyDeleteIf you mean dash cameras, George, the cab of a truck does not have the same privacy protection (what little there, I mean) as a private home. In most states, recording audio and/or video in other than a public setting requires all parties agree to that. Clandestinely Installing any kind of recorder in a home is, more often than not, illegal.
ReplyDeleteWow. That was interesting. However, I figure anybody putting one of those in my house would probably have their eyes burned out sooner or later, especially right after we take our showers.
ReplyDeleteYeah well this party did not agree to it so I fucking quit.
