From Powerline's The Week in Pictures.
"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh

I'll be damned... you found some Australian comedy that is actually funny!
ReplyDeletePoor polar bears! They have it tough enough just because of Globull Warming.
ReplyDeleteAnd then there's Carl.
I loved the one using the gun's laser light to sic cats on the invader.
ReplyDeleteThat Australian exorcist is lucky the woman didn't unleash her inner cat.
No, that wasn’t water. Makes me wonder what the guy was thinking.
ReplyDeleteWhich reminds me ….

Actually, Jeff, I think it was water. Do you know what happens when you throw a relatively small amount of water on something very hot? Steam. Instant steam. Almost like explosively steamy steam.
ReplyDeleteRebecca: That was hilarious when the amateur exorcist squirted the woman in the face with holy water from a squeeze bottle, her husband cowering behind the furniture.
ReplyDeleteR-man, you are correct about water thrown onto a hot object, but ... ...
ReplyDeleteThe guy threw a flaming board into the container, not water. Any water in that container should have extinguished the flames.
And ... ...
After the jet of flame died out (which was strong enough to move that container), there was a distinctive glow inside the container. Both imply combustion, from liquid and vapors, which water would not do. It might have been some form of alcohol, as the article asserts, assuming the local temperatures were quite warm. But I dunno.
/nerd rant
What we have here is a failure to communicate, Jeff. I was referring to Dang! That wasn't water. I hadn't watched the link you posted.
ReplyDeleteAh, yes, r-man! Thank you.
