"Pope Benedict XVI Dies in Vatican at 95".
May God rest his soul. His "resignation" from the papacy, unfortunately, led to the current disaster besetting the church, an environment of anger and confusion brought on by the woke predilections of his successor - for whose return to the right path I pray frequently.
May he rest in peace.
ReplyDeleteI understand Comrade Francis isn't too steady on his sticks either.
ReplyDeleteI liked him almost as much as I liked John Paul II.
ReplyDeleteLotsa popes don't remember about those being first are last.
The current one doesn't seem to remember the religion.
Jesus didn't demand Caesar feed the multitudes, He did it Himself.
He was a learned man, and, as I recollect, an exponent of level-headed conservatism. I always thought it was pretty cool that, prior to becoming Pope, he was head of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith - formerly, the Holy Office of the Inquisition.
