Wow. Milk in a bottle? Old school. That went before I hit puberty.
And the phone number! The locals had TV, but not dial phones? Or was that just a holdover from earlier days?
The best milk was from glass bottles! No Cloverland in the areas I lived in. We had the Elsie The Cow one which is Carnation, I think.
Phone numbers with names were before my time. Tho it sounds fun, it also means there was a switchboard with people who could listen in. No thank you. We had a party line at a ranch. That was enough.

Was this a regional thing? I don't remember it at all, but I do remember the old Elsie the Cow commercials.
