I had a friend who insisted for years that the bees were dying off and OMG! what are we gonna do! I never bought it, partly because I knew she was the kind of person who falls for every apocalyptic scenario that comes along, but she did teach me that presenting facts does no good at all. She's probably still lamenting the bees.
Wait. They may be on to something...accidently, of course. If it works for bees, what other scenarios could it work for. Example: the supply chain. As Arsenio Hall said, "Things that make you say, "Hmmm".
