Victor Davis Hanson: "The Iranian attack on Israel seems a historic blunder. It opened up a new chapter in which its own soil, thanks to its attack on Israel, is no longer off limits to any Western power."

"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh

"What? Why didn't anybody tell this before we did the strike?"
Well, it's common sense if you attack somebody they might hit back.
"Huh? Since when?"
Yes, I am convinced that the Mullahs are that stupid. Oh, they're extremely evil too, but mostly stupid. Must be why Biden has such an affinity for them.
It seems to me that by showing how weak their attack was, what Iran did was akin to the old saying "It's better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt!"
The Iranians are doing "The Emperor's New Clothes" on the world stage.
On another note, Jib Jab did a wonderfully funny and catchy bit during the first Gulf War. "Bomb, bomb, bomb! Bomb Saddam!". It should be updated to "Bomb, Bomb, bomb! Bomb Iran!".
The Iranians haven't learned "play stupid games, win stupid prizes".
VDH continues to provide the voice of sanity and sober reflection.
(Still miss Thomas Sowell, though.)
The mullahs might be bone ignorant fanatics, but they're not stupid. They say that their precious Twelfth Imam will return when there is world wide Armageddon, but they seem to be believe that they'll still be around to welcome him. Now they're beginning to realize that might not be the case.
