That meme about a redneck friend or neighbor is a truth that I have experienced so many times in my life that I can't keep count. Btw, the country is, indeed, watching; the government seems to think nobody will care. I believe the government is wrong.
Or maybe the government has reached the point where they know people are watching, and care, but they think the people can't, or won't, do anything to stop them. And I'm afraid they are right.

Just a guess, but maybe the liberals are the people waiting for FEMA's helping hand and the Trump voters are the ones getting in there and helping - and defying FEMA, which not only is not helping but challenging those who try to help.
Or a thousand Biden/Harris Administration hacks.
