...but it's getting harder to believe as time goes by.
It just gets worse.
According to figures from fiscal years 2023 and 2024, the SSP has allocated $941 million to support non-federal entities in providing humanitarian services for migrants. Critics argue that this redirection of funds has come at a time when FEMA is facing significant financial strain in responding to disasters, particularly in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, which devastated parts of Georgia and North Carolina.
Oh, btw, I saw a news report a few days ago about a half dozen or more migrant workers in one of the heavily flooded areas being arrested for looting. Guess all that diverted FEMA money just wasn't enough.
7. The Harris/Biden Administration and/or the Democrat NC governor are maliciously and deliberately denying or delaying the use of these assets for nefarious reasons only they know.

I wish I could say "Inconceivable!", but that would be lying.
ReplyDeleteAre these red areas? Yeah? Then screw 'em.
ReplyDeleteSuch may a cynic suggest. Also, so might a realist. Often the cynics and realists overlap. Hey Kamala, try plotting that intersection on a Venn diagram.
Western North Carolina is predominantly Republican. Boy, the coincidences sure do pile up, don't they?
DeleteLooks like those folks are really hurting, it's sad to see.

There are so many stories coming out now about how the authorities are obstructing some of the rescue operations. If that’s true, it’s infuriating.
