Top Hamas leader and October 7 mastermind Yahya Sinwar is dead. The news was reported by Israeli media outlets Thursday morning and appeared to be confirmed by Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant in a cryptic tweet.

I hope his 72 virgins all look like the late Helen Thomas.

    I don’t think Yahya will get any virgins. He abandoned his Hamas fighters and was trying to escape to Egypt. Pretty sure Allah did not approve, which is why the Israelis sort of accidentally ran across him and reduced him to charcoal.
