Ok, mister. But don't leave town.

ReplyDeleteThis is an interesting X post from a former DoD contractor:

Speaking as a former federal employee, I am unsurprised by those stories.
Unfortunately, those clowns make the competent federal employees look really bad. The impending (hopefully) purge of the federal workforce is going to take out some of the competent employees.
That's unfortunate for them, but good for the country in the long run. Not only should the bad ones be sent packing, as Elon Musk has noted, it's not necessarily the employees, it's their jobs.
Maybe the employees are good, but the job itself is the problem ... so the good employees are doing undesirable things.
Start with Rand Paul's pork report and the enumerated powers of the Constitution, and that's a good start.
ReplyDeleteMy buddy was a contractor for State.
ReplyDeleteHe always said in an office of 20 people, 2 or 3 did all the work and 17 or 18 played solitaire.
It was basically welfare where they had to show up.
Now they don't even have to do that.
