Brilliant...

...with the added distinction of being hilarious: Thank you, Obama, for making DOGE possible.

  1. When Obama was starting the Phone and Pen routine, FrnakJ had a post about how it was stupid to do that as another POTUS, from the Other Side could use that expanded view of presidential power.
    And here we are.
I'm against legislating by EO, but Congress is useless or actively against us.
I do wish we could go back to following the Constitution, but I'm not sure what it would take to achieve that.

      Probably another revolution.

The bureaucracy is out of control and inimical to freedom, but I place a lot of the blame on congress. How many agencies and departments have been set up by congress to implement the laws that get passed, only to see those executive shops take on a life of their on, with little or no useful oversight by their official creators?

    4. I didn't notice the misspelling until you mentioned it.
Yup, Congress is busy taking bribes and getting re-elected to do their jobs.

    1. I think the Democrats really believed that they were entering into a thousand-year Reich of donk control, so they never worried about getting a big taste of their own medicine. What colossal hubris and imbecility.

  3. As I said on one of your other posts, the WH needs to spread the word that the Dimocrats can thank Obama for helping create DOGE.
You can never have too many exploding Dimocrat heads. :-)

  5. so often the Democrats have taken the nuclear option, with warnings that 'you don't want to do it, and act surprised when it gets used against them, see eliminating the filibuster.
