And I probably won't until they permanently move the event out of Washington, DC.
Update Gateway Pundit has more info on the expulsion of some of the J6ers, but we still don't know the rationale, aside from some vague worries about the possibility of them "causing trouble". Some of them had already paid for booths, so I don't get it. Maybe there will ultimately turn out to be a good reason, but the fact that one hasn't been offered yet doesn't speak very well for the conference. Could be another case of what happens when a herd of "bright young things" run an operation. Back in the day, when I first started blogging, I met a number of conservative bloggers who encouraged me to attend CPAC, but there was a strong whiff of grifting coming off of some of them, plus they were mostly domiciled in Washington DC and environs, so I've kept my distance.
Update II Problem solved, apparently. Still don't have a clue as to why some of these people were barred admission in the first place.
Why didn’t the article explain the reason Lang was kicked out?
ReplyDeleteGood question!
DeleteUpdate II brings to mind a quote from William S Burroughs: 'As one judge said to the other, be just and if you can't be just be arbitrary.'
