When I had a rat problem in my backyard, I didn't do "catch and release", using "humane" cages. I used traps that killed them instantly, and I dumped the carcasses in a place where the remains were devoured by carrion eaters.

Speaking of deceased rodents, two days ago I found a dead chipmunk in my downstairs toilet. Now, I suppose it's somehow possible that it got into the septic tank and then navigated over thirty feet of plumbing drain to come up int he bowl and expire... but I have to admit that it's much more likely that it got into the house and crawled under the seat looking for water, and found way more than it could handle.

All the words I have to describe Hamas, Gaza, and the general run of Palestinians right now are unfit to print on a family-friendly blog. Sorrow and anger just don’t do justice to what I feel after seeing that.
ReplyDeleteThe image of that poor mother with the two kids wrapped in her arms is one that will stay with me forever. I can't imagine how anyone could justify it as some form of equivalence.
ReplyDeleteI say, bring back carpet bombing.
