Silly holidays are the best holidays. Even though I was finished with Star Wars after the original trilogy, I do appreciate May the Fourth, and International Talk Like a Pirate Day.

The one that still confuses me is every April 20, when all the stoners commemorate Adolph Hitler's birthday. I don't get that one at all.

  2. Interesting difference: Nth Americans (incl Canada?) call something a pie if it has filling on top of pastry (pizza too).

Look up image of traditional Brit steak and kidney pie, which often only has pastry baked on top of a dish of stew filling. No pastry base. But it's a pie. (And pizza is not)

    Curious.

    1. Oh, and I think we might call those baked fruit pastries 'tarts'! :-)

  3. We call those "Pot Pies" bruce.
I love me a good chicken pot pie.
Pi is my second favorite unknowable mathematical concept.
    Infinity being my favorite.

  4. I think I've broken Google AI. It just told me Louis Armstrong (Satchmo) was Irish.
