I've never been a fan...
...but the history of the porkpie hat is interesting.
Never my thing. To me it always looked like somebody tried to gussy up a boonie hat. But there's plenty of room for styles, so pork pie hat wearers, go for it!
Nice to see the short pic of Willie and Percy Humphrey outside Preservation Hall. Back in the 60s, you could usually count on seeing them there (hatless) with Sweet Emma. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ferha6dE7Uc
