As bad as things have become there, I never figured California would collapse in my lifetime; now, I'm not so sure.

It is not "your home," any more than these are "your children." You own nothing. Everything you have you hold in trust for The State.
ReplyDeleteWhen it gets to the point where criminals are treated better by the State than good people, why won't the good people want to become criminals, too?
ReplyDeleteWhat's the incentive not to?
George Zimmerman was supposed to be a cautionary tale. So was Kyle Rittenhouse. So was Daniel Penny.

ReplyDeleteSomebody has been occasionally stealing cushions off my patio furniture.
I was down to the cushion where I sit and a cushion on a footrest/table, the one where I sit is getting ratty. It's in the sun and I sit on it at least 2 hours a day to read and possibly smoke a cigar.
I came out the other day and someone had returned a decent cushion and put it where I sit and moved the ratty one.
Hilarious. Nice, thoughtful thieves.
