Which makes this quite a phenomenal coincidence: "Johnson: 62% of Federal Injunctions in Last Century Handed Down Against Trump, 92% of Those by Dem-Appointed Judges".
If President Trump plans to play by the rules established for the inferior courts (written by SCOTUS, whose chief is a lily-livered weakling who lives in mortal terror of elected officials making waves), with no better strategy than to file an endless stream of motions - which will continue to be ignored - then that's the end of most of what he pledged to accomplish.
It is still very early days, and I think we need to be patient, but we also need to see some kind of effective pushback before momentum hits a brick wall. I believe we can count on that from Trump; the rest of the GOP...well, I'm not optimistic about their intestinal fortitude.
Update Kurt Schlichter has a few words of wisdom for Justice Roberts: "The Agony of John Roberts".
What John Roberts is risking by refusing to put an end to these abuses is the Trump administration putting an end to these abuses by exercising its implied power under the Constitution to check an out-of-control judiciary. If an order issues and no one enforces it, is it really an order?
Don't fight back!
