The overwhelming Luddite vibes of the green movement

Check out some of the absurd notions peddled by the greens in this policy statement from 2004, unearthed by friend and commenter Gregory.

"Well, look at the bright side: at least we don't have to put up with the fumes from the tractor anymore."

  1. The author of that piece noted in 2004 that Brown's book might be the rarest in Australia. In 2025 you can erase the 'might be' - Abebooks shows one copy, in Sydney.
Waiting for the chump willing to pay about $90AU. Postage extra.
    I admire the seller's optimism.

  3. I did a search for Brown and Singer at thriftbooks.com, Aesop's Fables popped up as one recommendation.
    Kinda funny.
Tell us again about the evil ants who destroyed the environment while the good grasshoppers cared for it!

Peter Singer is a horrifying amoral "bioethicist." And like all of his ilk, if you allow him to talk long enough you eventually get to the part where he shows you his list of all the people who need to die for the world to be better.

    1. I'm reasonably sure his own name is not on that list.

  5. It's pretty funny that however stupid we all thought Backdoor Bob Brown was looking back in the early 2000's, he seems like a wise conservative compared to the fruitcakes that call themselves the Greens now. They are anticapitolist muslim lovers.
Bob did seem to be a genuine nature lover, while his successor has probably never ventured out of the big city limits
