"‘Late Show’ with Stephen Colbert Canceled on CBS: ‘Financial Decision’".
Another Democrat megaphone bites the dust. Or will, at the end of the next season (not sure why they don't just end it now).

maybe he has a poison pill contract that costs them more to get rid of him than to keep him.
ReplyDeleteWhen Kimmell gets his pink slip all MAGA will say in unison, 'Rest in peace, wheezy!'
ReplyDeleteI'm so old and out of touch that the last late show I watched regularly was The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.
ReplyDeleteYou couldn't pay me enough to watch any of the current late shows. Or just TV in general these days.
I still watch old clips from Carson's day, so that I can enjoy guess like Jonathan Winters, Rodney Dangerfield, etc. If I ever feel the need for a political lecture, I'll look up Victor Davis Hanson or Thomas Sowell; it sure as hell won't be that smug, bespectacled left-wing snark machine.
DeleteOne channel shows reruns of Johnny. I watch it a lot.
ReplyDeleteI used to watch him all the time. It was a fun show, he was even funny as his jokes bombed.
I used to love watching him and then Tom Snyder.
Was it Tom Snyder who used a shotgun mic to take questions from the audience? I watched the show occasionally, but it was on too late to watch regularly.
