Rush Limbaugh referred to them as "young skulls full of mush". If anything, the mush is getting mushier: "Gen-Z Democrat Operative Visits Iran, Joins 'Death To America' Chant".
She didn’t start out in the mountains of Afghanistan or the streets of Tehran. She started out at a Massachusetts phone bank, organizing voters for a sitting U.S. senator. She passed through every level of the left’s activist ecosystem: DSA meetings, Palestine protests, anti-police rallies. Each one nudged her a little further left—until she wasn’t protesting America anymore, she was openly engaging with those plotting to destroy it.
And progressives don’t see a problem with it, because they hate America too.
When I quit the job at the start of 2022 because I wouldn't roll up my sleeve I was ready for some hostility. All I got was a few people - the company's top man among them - who started throwing me nervous looks when we passed in the hall. Perhaps I threw them off balance because I didn't hide why I was leaving. But I didn't blast the news out, either. No loud and heavy emails.
ReplyDeleteThe departure itself was farcical. I emailed my resignation to the relevant people (first day back and the entire HR team was working from home) and they said 'Thank you, we appreciate your explanation for leaving. We are happy for you to work out your four weeks.'
When the office manager was in a few days later I said it seemed strange that they'd keep me around. I assumed they considered me a risk to the rest of the staff. OM didn't bat an eyelid. She came straight back with 'Oh, but there's work for you to do!'
