'the process is the punishment' seems to apply, plus the lawyer costs can have a substantial impact on their finances too, but even some short time in jail like some of their targets got is definitely better than nothing.

DeleteI think we all have to be satisfied with the ruination of reputations and legacies, if that's all we can get. But that's punishment enough to narcissistic personalities.
ReplyDeleteYep. I expect some secondary characters (lacking the political connections for protection) will get jail time, though.
