From a guy who's really got his head screwed on straight

Victor Davis Hanson on "the turning point".

Elsewhere, anti-Semitism continues to rage: "Open season against the Jews".

Quick update  I was watching a few minutes of a YouTube video yesterday posted by JoeybToonz, which assembled some of the more egregiously wicked and insane responses to Charlie Kirk's murder, and I got a chill down my spine thinking about how these people are walking among us. I also got the feeling it wouldn't take much to prompt these savages to commit homicide. Here's the video, if you have the stomach for it. I'm linking it because it displays the horrible truth: there are a lot of people out there who want to kill us, and will, if given half a chance. Since most of us know this, you don't really need to watch the video, and I don't recommend it. You have been warned.

Arm yourselves. Be vigilant. Maintain situational awareness at all times. Do what you have to do to protect yourselves and your family from the rising tide of ideology-driven savagery.

  1. I've been seeing some serious Jew-hatred on a bunch of righty blogs too.
For example, one righty blog I read had a post about Trump expanding H1-B from India, it was the Jew's fault.
I have never understood that crap.
A long time ago I read about Jews being the canary in a coal mine as a sign of a civilization's sickness.
    We're living it.

    1. Very concerning. Anti-Semitism seems to be the "go-to" scapegoating protocol for all sides. And, yes, that canary is now coughing up a storm.

  2. I regard Victor Davis Hanson, after Charlie Kirk, as the voice of freedom. He knows everything about the history of Western civilization and he knows what works and what doesn’t.

I never understood knee-jerk antisemitism, the same as I don’t understand reflexive TDS. It’s like a brain disease.

    1. The Jews are God's chosen people, but I wonder sometimes if some of them haven't asked God, "couldn't you have chosen someone else?"

    2. Not to be too flippant, but that makes me think they're correct.
When they piss off God, He expels them from their land and occasionally sends them into slavery.
That's how I'd expect rhe creator of this world to act.
