Our constitution is much besieged by commies and idiots (quite a bit of overlap, there), but it still stands and we are now engaged in a great attempt at revitalization. God be with us!
And my little naturalized citizen, Mrs. Paco, celebrates 41 years as a proud American, having been sworn in by Vice President George H.W. Bush at a monster ceremony at the Orange Bowl in Miami in 1984.
Congratulations to the USA for having kept it together for so long! And to you, Mrs Paco. Clearly, becoming a citizen was just one of your wise life choices.
