He says that like it's a good thing

"Billionaire Larry Ellison says a vast AI-fueled surveillance system can ensure 'citizens will be on their best behavior'".

Sure, pal, what could possibly go wrong? Except that I'll have the DEA, the sheriff's department and the State Bureau of Investigation dropping by to talk to me about my Texas Star hibiscus plants several times a month.

    I think Ellison is a bit too optimistic about human nature. I also think he hasn’t considered the abuses that universal surveillance can lend itself too.
