There was a Sinclair gas station in my little hometown, and for some reason, I seem to remember a promotion involving an inflatable Dino, the Sinclair dinosaur. I think I wanted one, but mom wouldn't make the big gas purchase needed to get one. I was deprived of a great childhood memory, that's why I am the way I am today, I'm sure.
You're right! My brother and I each had one of those inflatable dinosaurs. The idea was you could sit on them and bounce around. Idiotically, we did that at the beach and the sharp seashell remnants poked holes in them.
When I was a kid, we used to see a couple of those stations on the way to my my grandmother's house. Sinclair stations were always my favorite, because, like all kids, I was intrigued by dinosaurs.

Their card reader was always messed up so I only got gas there once.
