Sunday funnies

Alfred Hitchcock has a point.

Emus take a walk in a winter wonderland.

Looks like a pretty slippery offer, to me.

Have you ever woken from a nap, and wondered where you are?

John Isley and Billy James were hosts of the long-running radio morning program known as the John Boy and Billy Big Show, finally retiring at the end of 2025. I used to listen when I commuted to Charlotte during the week back in the early 90s, and frequently laughed until I cried, thoroughly enjoying their redneck, non-woke humor. Here, a regular character on the show - Oliver, voiced by Jeff Pillars - provides a brief military history of France.

  1. Is that an authentic Screaming Lesbian? I mean, where's the multicoloured plumage and excess of piercings?

  2. Yeah, well, my caveman ancestors stayed close to home.

    They were Nearanderthals.

  3. "France. They're always there when they need us."

And annoyingly arrogant when they don't.
